Run your hand down my cheek,
Blossom your soul into my heart,
Engrave your name forever dear,
And I'll just take the heat,

Answer my prayer love,
I'll stray not from the path you've granted,
I feel your delicate hands in my guitar-blistered fingers,
A hospital never looked so beautiful,

In the end you are silent,
Just a smile that brightened my day,
You've yet to give me an answer love,
But I can wait for you to be in better health,

Let me hold your hand a tad longer dear,
Let me enjoy at very least your presence,
Until another day perhaps,
Where I'll receive the answer in English rather than your body language,

Allow me to run my fingers through your hair,
And you give a slight giggle of playfulness,
I'll give you a small chuckle too,
I'll wait for you longer love,

I'll wait one thousand years…
I visited Blue in the hospital today, she broke her leg at cheerleading practice :(. This is what basically happened. Neither of us said a word... and she still didn't give me her answer to whether or not she'll go out with me. I'd love to hear her say she will... because after today she's brightened things up a little bit.

This is really sweet. ^^
I like the flow of it and the word choice in the stanza about body language was great ^^

Wonderfully sweet piece =)

I hope she says yes by the way ;)
